FORESPAR Car Fc-125 Hd Car – 332002.
This heavy duty, versatile mast car was developed to eliminate the possibility of binding as well as allowing poles up to 4-1/2″ in diameter to hang vertically up the mast for storage. It incorporates an articulating flange that acts like a gooseneck and reduces the chance of end fitting binding. This fitting can handle rough offshore work as well as spinnaker pole jibes under racing conditions. The FC-125 accepts all end fittings; Easy Latch (EL), Piston (XP), Trigger (TR), and the Ultra External Trip Piston (UXP) except the socket style fittings (TS & UTS). The FC-125 car fits the standard 1-1/4″ T-track and requires a “heel lift” or uphaul/downhaul tackle system for vertical adjustment on the mast track. Shackles are provided on the top and bottom of the hinge pin for attaching blocks or dead-ending of control lines. Replaceable UHMW (ultra high molecular weight) inserts keep the car from galling on the track.
