The Fireboy CG Series provides fully automatic, total flooding fire protection for enclosed engine compartments and machinery spaces. Using advanced FK-5-1-12 clean agent technology, it quickly suppresses fires without leaving residue, ensuring no damage to sensitive equipment or the environment. The system activates automatically at 175°F (79°C) through an integrated temperature sensor, releasing the extinguishing agent in seconds to smother flames and prevent re-ignition.

Each CG Series system is designed to protect compartments from 25 to 1,000 cubic feet, depending on cylinder size. The cylinder must be installed vertically with the discharge head facing upward to ensure full performance. With reliable, automatic operation and an environmentally friendly clean agent, the Fireboy CG Series is the ideal solution for protecting engine rooms, generator compartments, and other enclosed spaces from fire without requiring manual intervention.

• Extinguishant: FK-5-1-12 clean extinguishing agent, approved for marine use worldwide (EPA, SNAP, European).
• Actuation: CG2 systems, direct heat only.  MA2 Systems, direct heat and/or mechanical pull cable for manual discharge.
• Limitations: DO NOT install a Fireboy rated for less than the total volume of your engine compartment.  You may NOT combine the rated volume of two systems to equal the total volume of your engine compartment.
• Refillability: All extinguishers are currently manufactured in refillable cylinders; systems used in a fire are not refillable.
• Warranty: Three-Year limited.
