Description
The COMET 1774 Twin Star cartridge is the replacement 12-gauge pyrotechnic signal for the COMET signal launcher system. Each self-contained cartridge projects two red stars to provide a highly visible aerial distress indication.

- 12-gauge format: intended for the COMET 1774 launcher system.
- High luminous output: legacy COMET data lists more than 10,000 candela.
- Extended burn: signal duration is more than 5.5 seconds.
- Approximate 61 m altitude: projects the visual signal above the vessel for improved line-of-sight.
