Corrosion-resistant, they provide long-lasting performance outdoors. Aluminum cleats prevent rope burn, remain unaffected by heat from surging ropes, and are suitable for sub-zero temperatures.
The CL222 cleat has a silver stove enamel finish, offering a cost-effective, high-quality coating, ideal for inland and most coastal kiting. The CL222AN features a hard anodized finish for the ultimate in durability, making it perfect for extreme coastal conditions. Both cleats are designed for ropes 3-6mm in diameter and should be used with #4 fasteners.
