The ACR Electronics GlobalFix V6 is a Canada-programmed Category I Emergency Position Indicating Radio Beacon for recreational and commercial vessels. It sends a 406 MHz distress alert and encoded identity through the global Cospas-Sarsat satellite system while providing features intended to help rescuers confirm and refine the beacon position.
