Description
SURE POWER, 200 Amp 1-Alternator / 2-Battery Multi-Battery Isolator – S2002
The Sure Power S2002 Multi-Battery Isolator is a legacy solid-state charging-management device built to distribute alternator output across multiple battery banks while keeping those banks electrically isolated from one another. In a properly matched system, it protects the starting bank from auxiliary loads without requiring the operator to switch batteries manually.
- 200-amp model matched to 1 charging source and 2 battery banks
- Solid-state diode design automatically distributes charging current without manual switching
- Helps prevent battery-to-battery current flow so auxiliary loads do not drain the starting battery
- Designed for negative-ground alternator systems using batteries of the same nominal voltage
- Legacy Sure Power design is rated for full-load operation across demanding mobile and marine environments
Sure Power multi-battery isolators act as one-way electrical check valves between charging sources and battery banks. When the alternator is charging, current is directed to the connected banks; when charging stops, the diode paths help keep the banks electrically isolated. Correct alternator type, cable size, over-current protection and voltage-sensing arrangement should be confirmed before installation.
