Description
The FURUNO SCX20 Satellite Compass provides precise, fast and stable heading information for marine navigation systems without relying on a conventional magnetic heading sensor. Its unique four-antenna GNSS architecture provides six possible baselines, helping maintain accurate heading even on installations where portions of the sky may occasionally be obstructed.
In addition to vessel heading, the SCX20 supplies position, COG/SOG, rate of turn, pitch, roll, heave, three-axis speed, atmospheric pressure and air-temperature information over an NMEA 2000 network. This makes it an excellent heading and motion source for compatible Furuno radar, NavNet multifunction displays, autopilots, fish finders and sonar systems.

- Heading Follow-Up: Up to 45°/second
- Heave Accuracy: Approximately 5 cm
- Attitude Update Rate: Up to 50 Hz
- Position Update Rate: Up to 10 Hz
- SOG Accuracy: 0.02 knots RMS when tracking five or more satellites
- Power: 12–24 VDC
- Environmental Rating: IP56
- Operating Temperature: -25°C to +55°C
- Sensor Weight: Approximately 1.0 kg without mount
- Sensor Dimensions: Approximately 25.0 × 19.4 × 7.4 cm
