Description

- Digs in and holds under almost any conditions.
- Patented release system allows for easy retrieval.
- Suitable for use in all weather and bottom conditions.
- Performance in rocks, mud, weeds, and sand is superior to traditional anchors and requires less anchor line.
- Will set and hold, even using a 3-1 scope.
Easy to deploy and retrieve, the Richter Design makes anchoring effective and easy, even on difficult to hold pontoons, deck boats, runabouts, and float planes.
Instructions/How to setup
The Greenfield Richter Anchor should be set up with anchor chain and rope. Attach to boat a 3/8″ Braided Anchor Line with thimble or Anchor Buddy. Connect anchor ring and thimble with 5/16″ connector and nut. Anchor Chain (Greenfied #2115-W or 2116-W) is strongly recommended. Works great with the Greenfield Anchor Buddy as well! A 4:1 scope is recommended (meaning for every 1′ of depth, you will need 4′ of anchor chain/line).
Lowering: Connect line and hardware to anchor and boat. Lower anchor from stern or boaw of boat.
Holding: Set line at 3 to 1 or 4 to 1 scope (or a 30-40 degree angle) from boat. Use extra line in rough water or strong current.
Retrieving: Position the boat over anchor, or past vertical position, to allow the line to follow the release bar to release position. Anchor releases in upside down orientation.
