The Victron Energy SmartShunt 500A/50mV is an all-in-one battery monitor designed for clean, low-clutter installations in marine, RV, off-grid, and auxiliary battery systems. Instead of using a dedicated display, the SmartShunt connects by Bluetooth to the VictronConnect app on a phone or tablet, allowing users to view key battery data such as state of charge, voltage, current, amp-hours consumed, time remaining, and historical performance.
The SmartShunt can also be connected to a Victron GX device using a VE.Direct cable for system integration and remote monitoring. Its auxiliary input can be used for monitoring a second battery, midpoint voltage, or battery temperature when paired with the optional temperature sensor.
