PERKO Black Split Mounting Ring for Vented Fuel Fills – 540-DPR-BLK

This split mounting ring raises the breathing opening of a compatible PERKO vented deck fill farther above the surrounding deck. It is intended for installations where splash water may collect around the fill and the added height can reduce the chance of water entering through the vent opening.

Product Details

• Raises the opening between the fuel cap and fill by approximately 9.5 mm (3/8 in.).
• Split aftermarket design can normally be installed around an existing fill without disconnecting the fuel-fill or vent hoses.
• Black polymer construction matches the body of many PERKO vented deck fills.
• Compatible with numerous PERKO vented-fill families, including Figures 0540-0543, 0580-0583, 0590-0591, 0640-0643, 0680-0683 and 0690-0691.
• The ring reduces splash-water exposure but does not make a vented fill watertight or protect a submerged or heavily flooded installation.
• Where a fill can become submerged, PERKO recommends relocating the fill/vent or using a sealed cap and a separate vent in a dry location.
