Description

SIERRA Mercury/Mariner Carburetor Float – 18-7209 is a replacement float for compatible Mercury and Mariner outboard carburetors. It maintains the specified fuel level in the carburetor bowl by moving the inlet needle as the bowl fills.

Use the OEM float number to confirm this part before disassembly. Replacing a leaking or saturated float can correct flooding and fuel-level problems, but the needle, seat and bowl condition should also be inspected during carburetor service.
