Sierra 18-2161 is the shift arm and roller used in MerCruiser MC-I, R, MR, Alpha One and Alpha One Gen II bell-housing shift mechanisms. It converts lower-cable movement into drive shift-shaft movement and should be inspected for roller, pivot and fastener wear.
