This Dometic SeaStar hydraulic steering fitting is used when adapting or servicing SeaStar/BayStar systems that use modern O-ring boss (ORB) ports. ORB fittings seal on the O-ring rather than on pipe threads, which allows the fitting to be positioned for a cleaner hose route while helping avoid the port damage that can occur when NPT fittings are forced into -3 style helms or cylinders.

HF6011 is a 45 degree fitting for routing SeaStar hydraulic steering tube or hose from a -5 ORB port where a straight or 90 degree fitting is not the best fit. The intermediate angle can reduce hose stress while keeping routing compact.
