Description
INTERLUX Bottomkote-CA Ablative Antifouling Paint, Blue – YBM010-QT
Interlux Bottomkote-CA is an ablative antifouling paint for reliable season-to-season protection in Canadian waters. This blue bottom paint wears away gradually with use, helping reduce old coating build-up and the heavy sanding often required when spent antifouling layers accumulate.
It is intended for properly prepared below-waterline hulls and is suitable for power and sail applications in sea water, fresh water and brackish water. It can be used over many sound aged antifoulings, and it can also be applied as part of an InterProtect barrier primer system for blister prevention or metal priming.
- Ablative antifouling provides reliable season-to-season fouling control
- Helps reduce build-up of old spent coating by wearing away during use
- Suitable for power and sail boats in fresh, salt and brackish water
- Can be applied over many sound, aged antifouling paints after proper preparation
- Flexible application schedule with low-temperature application capability compared with many bottom paints
