The Dometic SeaStar HP6000 non-vented plug kit is used in SeaStar hydraulic steering helm applications where a lower helm in a multi-station system must be sealed with a non-vented filler plug. In multi-helm installations, non-vent plugs help prevent steering fluid from leaking out of lower helms while the vented cap remains at the uppermost helm. This is a small but important service component for correct hydraulic helm setup.
