The MUSTANG SURVIVAL MIT 100 Convertible Inflatable PFD – MD2040 is a low-profile inflatable life jacket that can be configured for automatic or manual inflation. Mustang’s Membrane Inflatable Technology reduces bulk around the neck and shoulders while providing approximately 28 lb / 125 N of buoyancy when inflated.
A mode-conversion cap lets the user change the inflator between automatic and manual operation. For maintenance, Mustang specifies Re-Arm Kit L (MA2030). Leland also lists its V95000-84204Z O2 kit as compatible with Mustang MD2040; always match the inflator and PFD label before re-arming.
