ALEXANDER-ROBERTS Aircraft-Type Swage Eye 3/16″ – AE-6. is a 316 stainless steel machine-swage terminal for sailboat standing rigging, sized for 3/16″ wire and a 5/16″ clevis pin.

Features

Alexander-Roberts aircraft-type eyes use a thinner, more compact eye geometry than the company’s marine-eye pattern for the same wire diameter. They are intended to be machine swaged onto wire rope; this is not a hand-crimp fitting. Because standing rigging is safety-critical, wire construction, pin diameter and mating hardware should be confirmed by a qualified rigger before installation. The clevis pin is sold separately.
